I have a love for teaching others how to ditch the all or nothing mentality and learn to love where you are now, even if it's not where you want to be. I don't sugar coat things yet provide a judgement free space in which to learn and grow. I’m a wife (over 20 years now!) to an amazing man and mom to two beautiful teenage (twin) girls! I am a Certified Health & Life Coach, NASM Certified Personal Trainer & Corrective Exercise Specialist and Fitness Nutrition Coach. I love Jesus and yes I have a mouth on me, am fluent in sarcasm, I love all the food but #donteatlikeanasshole, enjoy reading, lifting heavy shit, shopping, napping and traveling though I don’t do it often enough because my girls activities and owning a gym keep our weekends packed. My passion is to teach others how to lead a healthy lifestyle of moderation, not deprivation. I encourage you to follow me on social media…it’s a great way to get to know me, my style, learn and laugh (often at my expense)!
My own journey to finding a healthy lifestyle has given me insight into the many challenges most people struggle with. This enables me to bring a high level of empathy, respect, and understanding. I was that 'all or nothing' girl. I would do so 'good' during the week only to go off rails on the weekends and start all over on Monday. It's exhausting to live like that and you CAN make the changes you want without depriving yourself of the things you love! Curating a customizable plan unique to YOU and working through your shit is what you need to be successful!
I absolutely love Corrective Exercise! The easiest way to explain it is, it's an extension of rehab after an injury, surgery or imbalance AND a great preventative to avoid surgery or make the recovery easier. It is incredibly fulfilling to take a client who has had chronic pain for years to a place where they can move easily, pain free. I've rehab'ed everyone from Cross-Fitters, desk workers, prevented surgeries, leading up to and post surgery rehab, post-partum women and thoroughly enjoy working with EDS community
I've had the pleasure of training people from all of walks of life and at different places in their respective journey's and it brings me so much joy to see a client leave my gym happier, stronger, confident and proud of themselves. My role as your trainer is to educate you on proper form and technique, help you learn what is best for your unique needs and give you the confidence to do it on your own.
